Boho Elopement at The Acre Venue in Florida

Boho Elopement at The Acre Venue in Florida

Michael & Jessica. I’ve never made magic quite like this. Ideally, every wedding is magical…somehow. But in this particular way it was special. I had never met Jessica & Michael before their wedding, and we had not done an engagement session. Off the bat, that’s already sort of a misconnection. And adding the stressors of a wedding day…this usually leads to some indifferences during the wedding day. And more often then not, there’s just not enough time in the day to connect with the couple! Seriously. BUT… Michael & Jessica, they made it happen. Somehow, their love, grace, & respect for this sacred day made the day so magical.

We first began at one of my favorite Orlando venue’s, the Dr. Phillips’s House at Lake Lucerne, where Jess had secured a room to get ready. Followed by the first look at Dickson Azalea Park in Winter Park & some back alley photos in the Mills50 district. Lastly, the final stop at the venue, The Acre.

The way the day felt as though we had been friends for years- constantly touching base with each other and reconnecting the entire day. And the timeline was flawless. We secured 2 hours pre-ceremony to allow for the first look & some photos. This also gave the couple enough time to relax at the venue before hand. And the icing on top was the extra time we photographed after the ceremony. If you can’t already tell, timing and the timeline is crucial. Sometime’s i’m lucky to get 25 minutes with the couple, let alone an hour & a half! So excuse my excitement!

Anyway, Mike & Jess, your day was magic in every way.

Now let’s relive this amazing wedding, xo
