NYC, NY

NYC, NY

This trip was something else. All alone, I wondered the streets of NY doing the unimaginable. Without my husband and kids (so rare!) I ventured the city with me and my trusty camera. Something I kinda always dreamt about doing, but felt guilty even thinking about it. Though, with some guilt and hopelessly missing them, I went to NY anyway. And man, o-man, what a time of reflection and silence. Despite the fact that I went for a workshop, I took the opportunity to spend an extra 2 days. And it was worth it. As selfish and unimaginable as it sounds, I think everyone should do this.

Go somewhere.

Anywhere.

Reflect.

Imagine how you got there.

Imagine where you’re going.

Because things won’t slow down. Not for you.

Not for anyone.
